White Rock Marathon
White Rock Marathon - : Mircea Saucuic, doing his first marathon mdash what a choice! And Shane Jones, Coleen Voeks, Deb Johnson and Debbie Webster also in the marathon. The two Debs are Rockin’ K marathon vets, but Coleen mdash well, we enjoyed introducing Coleen to courage to the sticking point (whatever that means) and go through the 2nd to the last crossing, at the bottom of the sandy section, right after the big beehive rock formation with The Doors chiseled into it in letters six feet high.
Rockin’ K Marathon « Back Of The Pack: In the registration process we were asked who our favorite princess was (Belle, Aurora, Cinderella or Snow White) and we got different colored bibs depending on what we chose. I had a blue Cinderella bib and Pam had a gold Belle bib . You guys rock!! I really enjoyed reading your recount of the race….Congrats! Posted by Elizabeth March 10, 2009 8:13 PM. Princess Half Marathon Weekend - Race Day (Laura’s Disney Lines): My white shoes looked were masked now and I looked like I knew what I was doing now. 
After the mud incident, we got back into the woods and came to a nice aid station where we filled up on some PBJ’s and fig bars. It seemed worse in my road shoes, because as I tried to position my feet on each a leaf covered rock, my feet would slip just enough to freak me out. Lesson learned. We passed through another supportive aid station and stocked up on some food and drinks.
Trail Hacker: 2009 Bobcat Trail Marathon Race Report: Charlie Manuel calls on Geoff Jenkins and Kiss Kiss by Chris Brown to pinch hit for Heavy B. Torre calls for his indie rock lefty, Joe Beimel, whose entry music is White Stripes’ 7-Army Nation, or whatever the title of that song is. .I think The Immigrant Song is perfectly suited to a short series, but Kashmir has what it takes to finish the marathon that is the MLB season.
